Radio Globo Internet Server Down

The SHOUTCast server Radio Globo uses to broadcast over the internet reports that the service is currently shut down. I can only hope that someone with Admin access starts it up again soon.

In the meantime, Radio Progreso continues its internet broadcast.

UPDATE: 12:10 pm pdt. Back up again "A giant electrical surge" burned out our transmitter and has weakened our signal in various parts of the country, they said.

UPDATE: 3:02 pm pdt. Down again, a quick check shows their shoutcast server is currently shut down. I'll continue to hope they start it back up again.

UPDATE: 5:00 pm PDT. Radio Globo still down, but Cholusat Sur, Channel 36 is up for the first time since the military shut off its electricity yesterday.

Glad you could get Progreso. It was down when I tried it... gave me a ten-second bite with the time. Channel 11 is soaps.
