The Honduran newspaper, El Tiempo, reports that José Manuel Zelaya Rosales has extended the deadline he had given for the talks to realize results, from midnight Thursday evening, to noon on Friday. "There was never an ultimatum and we gave them an additional 12 hours to give us a definitive proposal," Victor Meza announced last nigh. He went on to add that things have moved a little closer to a solution since Wednesday; "we have advanced to 95%."
Both sides had a negotiating session scheduled for 10 am to 12 noon today.
UPDATE: noon PDT: La Prensa reports that Micheletti has asked for a 3 hour extension.
