Two Images of Zelaya: Radio Globo

The broadcasters of Radio Globo are contrasting the two outcomes that are desired, one by the de facto regime, the other by the people who are mobilizing throughout the country, despite the repression being practiced against them.

On the one hand, they note, the regime doesn't just want to see President Zelaya in a court of law, facing his accusers.

No, they say: the regime wants to see him in prison (skipping the due process and trial to which he is entitled), or dead.

In contrast, the people who have had their spirits lifted by the return of the constitutional president want to see him restored to the seat of the President.

Who is the defender of democracy here?
